Client Avoids Criminal Conviction After Prohibited Weapon Charge Is Downgraded to Ordinance

State v. IS (2022)

Charged with Possession of a Prohibited Weapon, a 4th degree offense.

IS flew into Newark Airport and was subsequently found with brass knuckles on them.  Jason A. Volet had the charge downgraded, and IS plead guilty to an ordinance (non-criminal) and received a fine.
