If you've been charged in New Jersey with a DWI, the penalties that you're facing are significant. You have to understand that in New Jersey for DWI can be either for alcohol, it could be for under the influence of drugs. So if it's a DWI for alcohol, our blood alcohol limit in New Jersey is a 0.08. So if you're a 0.08, you would be considered legally intoxicated. For a first offense, we have a two-tier system.
